Have you heard of The Burgerzzz Coatbridge?
If you’re going to call your business The Burgerzzz, there’s one thing you definitely need to get right.
The burgers.
Located in the Quadrant Shopping Centre in Coatbridge town centre, The Burgerzzz has a massive menu covering burgers, fried chicken, wings, loaded fries and plenty of other ridiculously loaded creations.
I headed along to give it a try and, after asking for a recommendation, ended up with a pretty substantial dinner.
What I Ordered
For this visit I went for:
- Triple BBQ Burger
- Buffalo Wings
I’m a massive fan of Buffalo chicken, so the wings were always going to happen.
The burger, however, came from asking for a recommendation.
Let’s start there.
Triple BBQ Burger
I asked what they’d recommend and was pointed towards the Triple BBQ Burger.
And I’ve got two slightly contradictory things to say about it.
Firstly, I would happily eat this burger every day.
I genuinely enjoyed every bite of it.
It was a really nice burger and there certainly wasn’t anything wrong with it.
However…
It just didn’t quite do enough to stand out as one of those burgers I’d immediately tell everyone they absolutely need to travel to Coatbridge and try.
There’s a difference between really enjoying something and finding something so unique or memorable that it becomes a must-try recommendation.
For me, this fell into the first category.
Very enjoyable? Absolutely.
One of my favourite burgers I’ve ever eaten? Not quite.
And considering the amount of burgers I’ve worked my way through over the years, that’s not necessarily a criticism.
I’d happily order it again.
The Buffalo Wings
Now we’re talking.
The flavour on these wings was PHENOMENAL.
That probably shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
Buffalo chicken is one of my favourite things to order, and these flavours hit just about every button for me.
There was only one thing stopping them from being right up there among my favourite wings.
The coating.
Crispy or Uncoated Wings?
This is entirely personal preference, but I’m generally not a massive fan of a crispy breaded coating on my Buffalo wings.
I prefer the chicken without it.
The wings from The Burgerzzz came with that crispy coating, which wouldn’t normally be my first choice.
But the flavour was so good that I was quite willing to overlook it.
If these had come without the coating?
We could genuinely have been talking elite-level wings for me.
That’s how much I enjoyed the flavour.
And to be fair, I’m sure asking whether they could be made without the coating wouldn’t be the most outrageous request in the world.
If you’re someone who actually prefers crispy-coated wings, then my criticism becomes completely irrelevant.
In that case, I’d 100% recommend giving them a go.
A Massive Menu
One thing The Burgerzzz definitely isn’t short of is choice.
Although burgers are obviously the main event, there’s much more going on.
You’ve got fried chicken, wings, loaded fries, wraps, hot dogs, mac and cheese, rice boxes and various loaded meals and boxes.
That gives me plenty of reasons to return because there are quite a few things I’d still like to try.
And that’s probably what I’d do next time.
Rather than automatically ordering the Triple BBQ Burger again, I’d work my way into another part of the menu and see if I can find that one standout item I’d specifically travel back for.
The Buffalo flavour has already come extremely close.

Being right in Coatbridge town centre makes it an easy option if you’re already around the Main Street or shopping-centre area.
As always, I’d recommend checking the latest menu, prices and opening hours directly before travelling specifically for a visit.
Is The Burgerzzz Coatbridge Worth Trying?
Overall, this was a really enjoyable meal from start to finish.
The Triple BBQ Burger was a very good burger that I’d happily eat again. It just didn’t quite have that extra something that would make me tell everyone it was an absolute must-try.
The Buffalo Wings were a different story.
The flavour was outstanding.
My only criticism was the crispy coating, and that’s entirely down to personal preference rather than there being anything wrong with the wings.
If you’re a fan of crispy-coated Buffalo wings, you’ll probably love them exactly as they are.
Take that coating away for me and we might be entering elite territory.
So overall?
A nice meal, plenty I’d happily eat again and a menu big enough to justify another visit.
Sometimes you’ve got to do a little nitpicking when you’re reviewing food.
Otherwise I’d just write:
“That was nice.”
And we’d have a very short website. 😂

Would I eat the burger again? Absolutely
Would I return? Yes – there’s plenty more on the menu I want to try.
