A box full of goodies from Cassa JoJo Bakes, and there were some absolute belters in here! 🤤
Now I’ve actaully known the team at casa jojo bakes from some time and remember them first gettign started up and iI’ve has few boxes and treats over the years.
Previously though you had to order to pick up or catch them at markets and festivals around the area but since they have been grafting away over the years and now Cassa JoJo Bakes now has a permanent spot at the famous Barras Market in Glasgow, so if you’re heading along for a wander, you’ve got another reason to stop by and treat yourself!
Here’s what we got in our cake box:

🍫 Double Decker Rocky Road
🍫 Mars Slice
🍯 Salted Caramel Blondie
🍪 Lotus Biscoff Rocky Road
Which one would you be going for first? đź‘€
Now something about me you should know, I love a rocky road. Wouldnt say its my favourite tasty treat out there but its something ill never say no to.
Got two to try.
I was convinced the Biscoff Rocky Road was going to be my favourite because on paper it sounds the absolute business, but it turned out the Double Decker Rocky Road was the winner for me!
I haven’t had a Double Decker in years, and having one mixed in with all the usual Rocky Road ingredients was an absolute winner.
I actual forgot all about double deckers as a chocolate bar but they are most certainly back on the menu.

There’s just something about Rocky Road that I love. I don’t know if it’s the contrast between the soft marshmallows and the crunch of everything else but they are just like wee bars of pure joy.
And throwing a Double Decker into the mix? That’s not something I’d have thought of, but it was ace! 👏
Another highlight for me was the Salted Caramel Blondie.

The texture on these is so good. Soft, smooth and absolutely bursting with flavour. Exactly what you want from a good blondie!
Im really big on textures when it comes to cakes and certain ones just hit that sweey spot and these fell into that category.
If you’ve had anything from Cassa JoJo Bakes before, you’ll already know how good these cakes are.
And it’s brilliant to see another independent Scottish baking business getting a permanent home at one of Glasgow’s most iconic markets.
I have also been told to check out the red velvet cookie dough pie which im assured is nect level goodness.
The Barras is already a cracking place for a wander, whether you’re hunting for a bargain, checking out the stalls or just soaking up the atmosphere. Now you can pick up a box of freshly made sweet treats while you’re there too!
